1. And One- Goodbye Germany
This song makes me think of a fabulous, sparkly Broadway revue about the fall of the Berlin Wall. Someone, please make this happen.
2. Alizee- Moi... Lolita
And for an unmistakably German car made in France, here's an unmistakably French song. It was a toss-up between Alizee, Indochine and Yelle (because that's what's on my computer at the moment), but in the end, this song is iconic as anything, much like Klaus himself. Just be glad you got something catchier than Edith Piaf.
3. Kraftwerk- The Man Machine
One of Klaus' favorite bands according to the Youtube profile; this FST wouldn't be complete without some Kraftwerk.
4. Gustav Holst- Mars, Bringer of War
When he's not listening to Wagner, this is totally what's playing on the sound system whenever the Citroen rounds a hill. Epic... yet classy. Just like the Citroen C5 as it purrs down the Autobahn.
5. Kompressor feat. MC Frontalot- Rappers We Crush
LISTEN TO THE LYRICS. NOTHING MORE NEEDS TO BE SAID.
6. Nena- 99 Luftballons (Westbaum Remix)
Yes it's the English version and thus ultrafail, but it's still a pretty nifty remix.
7. DJ Sharpnel- Zombie
Putting the original version of Kernkraft 400 on would have been boring, so here's a Japanese DJ covering a German classic. At least it's not the Sports Chant Stadium remix. And might I say Zombie Nation is one of the finest things to come out of Germany ever... besides Klaus.
8. Travel Sex- Sexiness
Because that's what Klaus is.
9. Richard Wagner- Ride of the Valkyries
If you thought you could get away without hearing this, you were unmistakably mistaken.
